I've had so many arguments with people about that. My thoughts are that you can take Star Wars out of the space context and tell almost the same story with the same events without the technology. You could very easily remove the technology and make it a medieval and the story will lose non of it's major elements. Technology is the major premise of sci-fi, whereas Star Wars it is most definitely not.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Aww now look at that. You got me on a rant. Haha.
