More Behringer Pedals

Started by Chris|StudioGTB|GuitarToyBox · 4 months ago

It’s hard to fathom that in the short time since they entered the effect pedal market, Behringer have knocked up more than 80 models. The latest is more bass heavy, but one pedal got my attention, the PHASER PH9.
I love my old trust MXR Phase-90. It is one of my favourite toys. ... Continue reading »

  • Gotta love those 90s! I remember when they first came out we put it on everything—bass, guitar, vocals, drums; it didn't matter. Eventually we got sick of it and moved on to chorus...

I'll have to dig my old MXR out of the cabinet and take it for a spin again.
  • Everything all at once. I love the effect done to an entire mix, especially leading up to a big momentum shift in a song. The 90 will never die!!!!
  • I am a fan of guitar sound processors, they give you all you want in one place and more than this they help you combine effects easier. But there are players that consider these pedals are the real thing.
  • Thank God for some sensible comments about these pedals:D I am fed up with hearing these great products dismissed out of hand. I will be buying both of these pedals and, if they are half as good as the matching compressor I already own, I willbe well pleased.

    Keep up the good work....

  • Exactly how I feel. Why dismiss something because it's cheap. If a reputable brand, known for great value products is putting this much effort into it, it is worth checking out.
  • My feeling exactly. I'm sick of people saying "Behringer are cheap" or "what are you on about, it's only Behringer". Some people say they are good, some people say they are rubbish. I own several Behringer stomp boxes, a Behringer bass stack and a Behringer pedal board. The IG9 is the next on my list.

Not only are the items amazing for the money, they're amazing anyway. I'm sure to be buying more Behringer gear in the future. Thanks for this article and thanks to Steve and Wookie for expressing the same opinion as myself
  • Couldn't agree more. I've bought all the Boss pedals and there is no arguing they are really good pedals. Now I'm picking and choosing from the Behringer line and guess what? They're really good pedals and usually 1/3 of Boss prices. I also have a Behringer 16 Channel mixing board, EQ and a pair of their 1500 PA amps which put our band in business for a fraction of the cost we'd have had otherwise. We've played the hell out of them and they're still working.
