Isaac Priestley · 1 year agoDoes an Epi weigh less than a Gibson? I've got an Epi LP Standard which is pretty solid but I'd never compared it to a Gibson.

Wookie · 1 year agoYeah, not a huge amount but enough to be noticable for someone with a back or shoulder injury. It also depends on the model. I have two Epi's, an older generic type model and an Epi Goth (both LP's). The Goth is noticably heaver due to the chunkier neck radius and slightly thicker body.

Jon · 1 year agoI'm not a fan of the finish on this guitar the burst seems a little harsh, and makes a sort of teardrop shape, also I don't like the Epi headstock but that's just me. I'd personally take the money for this guitar and put it toward a cheaper Gibson.

Wookie · 1 year agoI see what you mean. And for most burst finished I would agree, but there is something about a tobacco burst like this one that just makes me weak at the knees.
